POWERBOAT LEVEL 1​

 

Provides a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. It covers boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment and basic navigational theory.

 

Minimum age is 8 years old

1:1 DIRECT ASSESSMENT

on your Vessel

 

As per the Powerboat Level 2 for experienced power boaters on your own boat. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats and for your to learn and practise on your own boat. 

Boat must be in good working order.

 

Minimum age 12 years

 

1 day assessment £350

(1:1 course)

POWERBOAT LEVEL 2​

Provides skills & background knowledge to be a competent powerboater & is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. Teaches boat handling & seamanship includes low speed, close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an intro to driving at planing speed & collision regulations.

 

Minimum age is 12 years old
